As the impact of the COVID 19 virus continues to grow, we at NEOPAT are well aware of the growing hardships now being faced by veterans, military members, and their families here in Northeast Ohio.

We have provided a list of resources that may be available to assist you during this time. We will update this list as we identify more agencies providing support.

**VA Extends Financial, Benefits, and Claims Relief to Veterans**

For benefit debts, veterans can contact the VA Debt Management Center at 1-800-827-0648 to make arrangements.

For healthcare debts, veterans can contact the Health Resource Center at 1-877-222-8387 to make arrangements.

For veterans who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and need immediate action on their appeals, as opposed to a filing extension, the Board of Veterans’ Appeals will Advance their appeal on Docket (AOD).

Boots to Business REBOOT Class
The SBA is offering a special two day online class, called Boots to Business REBOOT on June 18 & 19 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. This is a free class; however, you must register. The course provides an overview of entrepreneurship and applicable business ownership fundamentals. Veterans of all eras, Active Duty Service members (including National Guard and Reserve), and spouses are eligible to participate. Limited to 50 students.
