Mark Pimpo grew up in Strongsville, Ohio and attended the Naval Academy Prep School prior to graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1989 with a BS in Political Science. While at the Academy, he was Captain of the 1988 Navy Football Team.
Mark spent over 26 years on active duty in the Navy, retiring at the rank of Captain in June of 2014 as Commanding Officer of the Navy Supply Corps School in Newport, RI, where he was responsible for the continuum of training for over 4,000 Naval logisticians focusing on providing students with foundations for success. Additionally, he served as the Navy Supply Corps Chief of Staff, acting as the primary advisor to the Chief of Supply Corps on all human resource issues and strategies for over 33,000 U.S. Navy personnel. During his carer, Mark served on Surface Combatants and Submarines, as well as assignments with the U.S. Special Operations Command.
Mark joined Under Armour University in July of 2014, as Senior Director responsible for the development and execution of UA’s teammate development process, focusing on key management and leadership training. In March of 2015, Mark was selected to the Supply Chain Chief of Staff, where he is currently responsible for the design, development and implementation of strategic, operational and tactical programs for the Global Supply Chain.
Mark earned an MBA from Brenau University, a Masters of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and is a graduate of the Columbia University Business School Executive Program. He currently resides in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife, Tracy. They have two grown children, McCall and Demetrius.
